How do we make this music, and its heratige come alive to a new generation?

Let's talk about counter culture and how Sailors were always part of it.
 
When I say "Sea Music" , people always say "Pirate Music!".
It's the farthest thing from my mind, But people are drawn to these aggressive smelly creatures. It's like Yuppies have all the Kitsch buying power, and Pirates ARE the new monkeys.
